Updates on Vietnam Visa fee in 2013
The Vietnamese Government is going to raise Vietnam visa fee nearly double in 2013. Starting from 1st January 2013, the stamping fee for each kind of visa will be as follows:
– 1 month/3 months single entry visa costs $45
– less than 1 month multiple entry visa costs $65
– 1 month/3 months multiple entry visa costs $95
Accordingly, Vietnam visa fee for all types of visa will go up for both methods of getting Vietnam Visa: through Vietnam Embassy or Visa on arrival service. Therefore we recommend foreign travelers to bring some more cash in USD currency to avoid any hassles.
In any circumstance, Vietnam visa on arrival will charge much cheaper rather than Vietnam Embassy (commonly by 20%). Thus, as an experienced travel agent, we suggest our customers should use Vietnam visa on arrival service if they travel to Vietnam by air.
For those who travel by land, Vietnam visa code is the best choice to get Vietnam visa with ease. The procedure to get Vietnam visa code is similar to that of Vietnam visa on arrival; however, you will pick up your visa at your chosen Vietnam Embassy. The benefits of Vietnam visa code service are quick and cost-saving.
Tip: The stamping fee may be varied from Embassy to Embassy. However, Vietnam Embassies situated in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos offer cheaper price than other Embassies. Remember to check the opening hours before you go.
