Ben Thanh Market

This center market is the first place you should get by. It is not only a regular market. It is considered as a tourism site, a symbol of the city. The market gathers every product, from clothes, silk, footwears to handicrafts, brocades, from jewelries, accessories to foods. With long history and traditional value, Ben Thanh attracts a huge number of tourists and shoppers. In the evening, there is a night market opened around Ben Thanh, making a very effervescent and diverse city of Sai Gon.

Binh Tay Market

Binh Tay Market is the most crowded shopping center in Ho Chi Minh City. The market is where almost all products delivered to other provinces in Mekong Delta region. This is also where you can find household utensils and electronic goods with low price. Especially, Binh Tay is the market selling a lot of fashionable watches with multiple styles and prices.

If you look for place to buy suitcases, bags, Le Lai Street in District 1 bring to you so many choices. The products in here are very rich, fashionable and highly recognized by shoppers. It is an ideal shopping street if you want to buy some bags or luggage to pack your stuffs.

Ho Chi Minh City is obviously not an actual fashion capital such as Milan or Paris, but when traveling to this city, you can go shopping for special types of clothes or costumes. And the best place for shopping clothes is Sai Gon Square Shopping Mall. It is considered as the “shopping paradise” of Ho Chi Minh City, focus on fashion wear such as clothes, bags, foot wears, jewelries, etc. It contains small fashion boutiques, jewelry houses and even accessories vendors will all levels of quality, from luxury or famous brand items to handmade and fake items.

Place for Foot-wears

Ho Chi Minh City also has places just for foot-wears, including shoes, sandals, high heels, etc. the fisrt place is on Ly Chinh Thang Street. This street has almost all well-known foot-wear brands and shops in the city. You can easily find whatever you like, from the trendiest items to the most comfortable sandals for your traveling.

If you want to buy traditional silk or cloth for souvenir or for making Ao Dai, you can go to Soai Kinh Lam Market. This market only sells cloth with abundant types and color. The price is pretty reasonable.

Le Cong Kieu Street in District 1 is considered as “antique street” of the city. You can find old items such as incent burner, bronzed statues, potteries, stamps or ancient coins. This is a real paradise for antique collectors.
