If you are a Kenyan passport holder who wishes to apply for a Vietnam visa, there are two options for you to go:

Option 1: Get Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy/Consulate.

Unfortunately, there is currently no Vietnam Embassy in Kenya. Please find the consulate or embassy of Vietnam in the nearest country for detailed procedures.

– Issuing unit: Vietnam Embassy

– Processing time: 7 working days

– A passport required with at least 6 months validity

Option 2: (Recommended) Apply for Vietnam visa on arrival through Vietnam visa service agency – immivietnamvisa.com.

Visa on arrival is widely believed to be an ideal option for getting Vietnam tourist visa due to its benefits i.e. hassle-free, cost-saving, as well as fast service.

– Issuing unit: Vietnam Immigration Department

– Processing time: 2-3 working days under normal processing; 4-8 working hours under urgent processing

– No original passport sent off required.

How does it work?

All you need to do is to send us your scanned copy of passport with the intended port of entry and estimated arrival date to support@immivietnamvisa.com. After getting your payment for service fee, we will start to process your application and you can get a visa approval letter via email within 2-3 working days under normal processing or even 4-8 working hours in urgent case. Then you can print out this approval letter, prepare 2 passport-sized photos & some dollars as stamping fee to pick up your visa sticker at one of Vietnam’s international airports.

Keep in mind that this service is only available to Kenyan citizens traveling to Vietnam by air.

How much does it cost?

Updated news in December 2019:  Kenyan citizens can apply for both 1-month and 3-month tourist visas.

The service fee for 1-month tourist visa for Kenyan passport holders is $90 USD/pax

The service fee for 3-month tourist visa for Kenyan passport holders is $180 USD/pax
